“Cruising through the mushroom-shaped Rock Islands, only a short distance from Blue Corner, is Blue Holes. Four holes break the reef, leading down into one large chamber. Ambient light from above fills the cavern creating the perfect setting for stunning wide angle photos. Turtles, barracuda and whitetip sharks appear from the darkness.
Divers’ flashlights reveal the electric scallop or “disco clam.” Shining lights reveal the mollusk’s white filament, which appears as an electric pulse, just like a disco strobe light. Other hidden treasures include nudibranchs,
seahorses, and remarkable macro life.”
